Grace Ainsworth is a painter and designer based in Illinois. She earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts from Midwestern State University in Wichita Falls, Texas. Now, she is a candidate for a Master of Fine Arts at Southern Illinois University Edwardsville, where she continues to develop her artistic practice. She specializes in oil and acrylic paint, usually working on a large scale. Her work can be characterized by magical realism qualities, grunge, and pop art. Inspired by her own mother’s advocacy, she spreads awareness for women’s issues surrounding domestic violence and abuse with her artwork. She also paints live at public and private events. Her work has been exhibited at The Kemp Center for the Arts, The Forum, and Midwestern State University in Wichita Falls, TX and Sparks Gallery in San Diego, CA.
